I keep making them. Until I believe it consistently. Until I live it unconditionally.
I started painting these awhile back when i lived in a neighborhood with lots of abandoned buildings — i got the idea when a kid at the immersion school where I taught art in Spanish gave me a “Soy Amada” button. So i started making gigantic, bilingual “buttons” made in recycled insulation foam to adhere to the plywood of dilapated buildings. They were a hit, and it became a habit.
It seems to be something a lot of us can stand to hear a lot.
